The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) was founded in 1981 and is the leading
sports licensing and marketing company in the collegiate industry. CLC represents
more than 200 colleges, universities, bowl games, athletic conferences, the
Heisman Trophy, and the NCAA. We represent these institutions in connection
with the licensing, protection and enforcement of their names, nicknames, logos,
slogans, mascots, seals, abbreviations, and other identifying symbols (hereinafter
"Marks"). No one is authorized to manufacture, distribute, advertise,
offer for sale, and/or sell any item that has not been properly licensed by
CLC and/or the institutions.
